| So here is a bit of info about myself and my
passion for woodworking. I am 48 years old and live in the quiet suburb
of Wonder Lake which is located 45 miles Northwest of Chicago with my
wife ( Liz ) of 30 years and 3 great kids. I recently migrated into woodworking as a
full time hobby.
It all started as a hobby back in 1985. A small scroll saw and
sander on a bench in the garage were my pride and joy. Small craft
projects for around the house and friends occupied my spare time.
In 1990 I purchased a Craftsman band saw, still in use today, and I
moved on to bigger and better projects. Over the years I have added to
my tool collection, progressively taken over the garage (
The wife's not a happy camper ) and recently built the shop I have always dreamed
of.
I love to create new works and that is the trade off with my wife for
taking over the garage :-) She gets new neat stuff for the house..
I am also an advanced class radio operator so if your a ham and
traveling thru the Northern Illinois area, Jump onto the 145.410
repeater (pl 107.2) and give me a shout. My call is N9LUO and the
radio is always on in the shop.
I built this website as a way to share my ideas and information with
others, meet new friends and relax after a long day..
